IIT Madras offers a unique 24-month blended learning - MBA Digital Maritime & Supply Chain, developed with the Department of Management Studies, Ocean Engineering. Designed for global professionals, this program provides the skills to tackle modern maritime challenges with digital solutions, boosts marketability, and increases global job mobility. Programme Highlights

The Online MBA is a two-year postgraduate program offered in a blended mode with online and on-campus 6 immersion modules, providing flexibility to complete in up to four years. The program includes 900 hours of classroom sessions and project work, totalling 192 credits, with 36 credits per quarter over eight quarters.

It features sixe on-campus immersion modules typically lasting four to seven days. The curriculum equips participants with functional and organizational skills to excel in a dynamic business environment. Additionally, there is an option to earn a Post Graduate Diploma after the first year upon completing the required credits.

  • Program: Digital Maritime & Supply Chain MBA is a 2-year degree program (classes based on blended learning)
  • Eligibility: Working professionals with a minimum 2-year industry experience holding any bachelor’s degrees
  • Selection: Academics, Written Test, Personal Interview
  • Structure: 8 quarters (each with 12 weeks duration) – Total credits 192
  • Courses: 20 core courses and 12 electives out of 31 electives courses including 7 Projects Digital Transformational – overall 32 courses (6 credits each with total of 192 credits)
  • Projects Digital Transformational: Focus on integrating classroom Digital Technology learning with industry implementation
  • Faculty: Faculty members from Department of Management Studies and Ocean Engineering, other IITM faculty members and Industry experts from 40-60 percent industry input on selective courses
  • Mode of delivery: Online Two days a week in the evening/weekend and Physical sessions with campus immersion

    • Final selection based on a personal interview for shortlisted candidates

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with 55% in any discipline / CA/CS/ICWA with minimum of two years of full time work experience.
    • Working Professionals and Entrepreneurs with a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience, after completion of graduation, as on June 15, 2024.

    Pedagogy

    The program's pedagogy will encompass a diverse blend of case studies, lectures, projects, peer-to-peer experiential learning activities, and simulations. Participants will have comprehensive access to IIT Madras’ learning resources, including lifetime digital membership to the Digital Maritime Library.
